The
presentation features three areas of benefit to healthcare
organizations: 1) why collaborative technologies in healthcare
are not only necessary, but imperative; 2) available
technologies that promote better collaboration; and, 3) lessons
to be learned from one system’s successful implementation of a
collaborative solution.
Also included in the presentation will be the results of a
year-long survey of healthcare executives representing 60 major
health systems regarding collaborative technologies and a case
study featuring how one such organization, St. Francis Health
System, Tulsa, Oklahoma, implemented HealthGate’s Collaboration
Architect. Collaboration Architect, a web-based document and
task management application, greatly accelerates the process of
reviewing, editing and approving complex documents and other
clinical, operational and support materials.
“We are pleased that experts such as Drs. Yount and McNamara
will share the success enjoyed by St. Francis’ implementation of
Collaboration Architect at such a prestigious and well-attended
event as HIMSS,” said Bill Reece, HealthGate’s Chief Executive
Officer. “Those attending the event and their respective
organizations will certainly benefit from the presentation.”
